With his exceptional expertise in leveraging data to gain a deeper understanding of consumer behaviour, Bilal will spearhead Lion & Lion's integrated strategy product, building synergies between data, creative, media and social to deliver high-quality connected and meaningful brand marketing solutions to clients which shapes a better future for their business and customers.

 

Pioneered the Strategy Team at Lion & Lion

Bilal, an award-winning global marketer specialising in innovative brand marketing and driving business growth, is no stranger to Lion & Lion. He played a pivotal role in establishing the first strategy department at Lion & Lion, elevating the quality of strategic thinking within the organisation, and collaborating closely with creative, social, and media teams from 2019 to 2021.

 

In his latest stint, Bilal served as the Regional Strategy & Planning Director at McCann Worldgroup, leading brand strategy for McCann's creative and dotcom businesses and he managed a team of strategists and fostered their growth as T-Shaped strategists in Singapore. Prior to that, Bilal managed connections planning for Starcom on Samsung in the SEA regions and led brand experience for Digitas for Macallan, Coke, and Mercedes at Publicis Groupe.

 

With an impressive track record spanning over 15 years, Bilal has been at the forefront of driving business growth and brand success for esteemed B2B and B2C brands in APAC and the Middle East. His expertise lies in building meaningful connections between brands, consumers, culture, media, and digital platforms, establishing world-class strategy practices, managing talent, and nurturing client relationships on a global, regional, and local scale, and his industry knowledge spans CPG, telecom, smartphones, beverages, luxury, real estate, beauty, airlines, travel, automotive, government, and healthcare brands.
