Snapchat Unlocks Geofilter Update with FourSquare Partnership
Snapchat’s parent company Snap has struck a deal to access Foursquare’s location data. This will power Snapchat’s geofilters — location-centric graphics that can be overlaid on to images and videos within the visual messaging app. Looks like they’ve located an interesting partnership!

OUR TAKE:
Although Pinterest is implementing the new autoplay video ads, other social media platforms, such as Facebook, have been using it for a while now. It isn’t necessarily new, but we will be able to target a more specific audience by strategically placing ads based on users’ pins. This means that we could potentially have more effective ads without the worry of reaching the wrong audience!
