Google to display Facebook content in search results
Facebook is reported to planning to allow data from its mobile app to appear on Google searches. The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday that Facebook has begun allowing Google to crawl and index its mobile app.
For you and me, that means that Google search results on smartphones will start to display content from Facebook’s app. If privacy is a concern, fret not – only public information will be displayed, while privately shared data will otherwise be unavailable.
