Facebook Rolls Out New Custom Ad Targeting Option
Facebook rolled out the ability for brands to create custom audiences that target users who have viewed their canvas ads on Facebook. With this update, Canvas custom audiences targeting broadens advertisers’ ability to funnel more customers to toward a conversion.
Facebook Adds Link Ads, Enhanced Mobile Websites, Payments, and More to Messenger:
Facebook is rolling out Messenger as a destination for news feed ads and is providing a simpler payment process within Messenger. You can now easily sell products and services directly to customers, where they may also seamlessly interact with a business’ mobile website within Messenger.
Instagram Enhances Call-to-Action Buttons and Video Links on Ads
Among several other features added to Instagram, the call-to-action button will now be highlighted when people show interest on or around an ad – like resting on the ad for four seconds or tapping on the profile name. You now have the option to extend the CTA button into the comments section and include prices, URLs, and app store ratings with it.
Canvas is one of the highly engaged ads on Facebook. This is because the nature of the ad itself caters for highly relevant ads with visually creatives, delivered to the most appropriate of audiences. With new custom ad targeting options, we can see products and brands be able to target audiences according to their niche – something we’d love to have!
