Digital agency Lion & Lion has grown to almost 200 people across six countries in just five years, with a portfolio of reputable clients including The Coca-Cola Company, Google, L’Oréal, Nestlé, Danone, and more. In the first six months of 2018, Lion & Lion has added more than 30 new brands to its growing client portfolio including Acer, Diageo, Virgin Active, Coty Group, Johnson & Johnson, Cathay Pacific, FrieslandCampina, Happy Bunch and many more.

“I’m very pleased to see our portfolio continue to grow across all of our six markets, and I’m particularly happy to see that our new offices in Vietnam and Taiwan have been able to partner with blue chip clients within the first year of operation,” says Casper Andersen, CEO of Lion & Lion.

In Malaysia, Lion & Lion formed new partnerships with companies such as Coty Group, which carries beauty lines such as Rimmel and Adidas, property developer Tropicana Corporate (Link), e-commerce florist Happy Bunch (Link), and beverage company Diageo for the whisky brands Singleton and Johnnie Walker.

Joanne Ho, CEO of Happy Bunch explains why she partnered with Lion & Lion, “Lion & Lion anticipated our business needs and thoroughly researched the industry landscape to provide workable solutions for our business going into 2018. Their insights were more accurate than any other agency we saw and more importantly, the chemistry we have with the team gave us the confidence that they would be good partners to grow with.”

Lion & Lion joined forces with Johnson & Johnson for its Acuvue brand, as well as FrieslandCampina and Virgin Active (Link) in Singapore. Managing Director for Virgin Active in South East Asia, Christian Mason says, “It is a refreshing change to find an agency willing to be jointly responsible for the client’s business goals and objectives. We look forward to a strong working relationship across the year and achieving what we have set out to.

For South East Asia’s biggest country, Indonesia, Lion & Lion partnered with a range of new clients such as Danone (Link), Nu Skin, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK) and more. In Vietnam, Lion & Lion partnered with Masan, among others, for the well-known household brand Chin-Su. In the Greater China region, Lion & Lion expanded its portfolio of clients to include brands like Avène and Watchbox in Hong Kong, and have added several reputable brands like Acer and Cathay Pacific to its growing portfolio in Taiwan. Taiwan is Lion & Lion’s newest office which opened its doors in 2017 (Link).

Casper Andersen, CEO of Lion & Lion, firmly believes it is the professional service-firm thinking and strategy-first approach, working with clients in a transparent and collaborative manner, that resonates well with both large international companies and promising startups.

He further adds, “Being set up as a regional agency that integrates creative, content, media, social, tech, data etc. helps ensure that we deliver digital services that are well connected and that we bring consistency, synergy and reduced complexity to the table, particularly when working across markets for our regional clients. It’s interesting times for marketers in this day and age of digital transformation, and I’m first and foremost excited to see how we help our clients businesses grow.
