Digital Marketing Agency Lion & Lion Grows Creative Capabilities with Key Hire
Starting 20th May 2019, Aji Bekti joins digital marketing agency Lion & Lion in Indonesia as the Creative Director, and brings more than 15 years of creative experience and having worked across brand groups such as Reckitt Benckiser, Unilever, Nestlé and Danone.
Aji will be responsible for the overall creative strategies to help clients with strategic and impactful digital marketing, as well as managing the creative team of more than 30 people in Indonesia.

Having previously worked for MullenLowe, Ogilvy, Hakuhodo and Havas Worldwide in Indonesia, Aji has extensive knowledge and expertise in design thinking, creative strategy, illustration and animation which will enable Lion & Lion to develop more impactful digital marketing campaigns and ideas, and further drive Lion & Lion’s string of successes in Indonesia.
Aji’s creative work has won numerous local and global awards including:
- Durex (The Most Delayed Love Story) – First webisode series to be awarded Silver at Citra Pariwara 2016.
- Lifebuoy Soap (Tree of Life) – Initiated by One Indonesian Creative. The video garnered 11,5 million views since its publishing in 2016.
- Lifebuoy Shampoo Pump (TVC Series) – An intriguing campaign that was awarded an invitation to attend CannesLions in 2012 by Lowe Global.
- Lifebuoy Shampoo (The Dojo TVC) – Indonesia’s first TVC to win Gold at AdFest (Award Festival), in 2008.
